About Bam Arts
BAM began in 2009, when our founder, Lisa, was looking for a dance class for her son, Buster, who has Down Syndrome. Finding there was nothing suitable for his needs, she started our “BAM Allstars” dance classes. Now, in 2021, we have grown to a community of over 150 students, and we run many other classes and programmes.
In 2019 we took a big leap forward, establishing a BAM HQ in Frankston, Victoria. From this site, we run our dance classes on Saturdays and weekday evenings, and through the week we run full day programmes in Music, Musical Theatre, Drama, Multimedia, Filmmaking and Visual Art.
